WELCOME!

A message from the Estahakee Chapter, NSDAR, Regent:

Welcome to the Estahakee Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, website!

Our chapter is located in beautiful Boca Raton, Florida.  Estahakee is a Seminole Indian word meaning “beautiful scene."  We are a group of women from diverse backgrounds and hold a variety of interests. Our common bond is our lineal descent from Patriots of the American Revolutionary War.  Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion or ethnic background, may join the DAR by documenting her lineage to an ancestor, either male or female, who aided the cause of American independence through military, civil, or patriotic service may join.

The Daughters of the American Revolution is a non-profit, non-political women’s volunteer service organization dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism.  The DAR motto is “God, Home, and Country.”

There are nearly 3,000 DAR chapters with over one million members representing all 50 states including the District of Columbia and several foreign countries.  DAR member involvement will be what you make of it. You can spend as much time participating in DAR as you want or are able to.  DAR is meaningful to its members throughout their lives, and you can participate in a variety of ways during the different stages of your life.

Enjoy our website and if you have questions or would like to attend a meeting, please contact us.

In DAR Spirit,

Brenda Crow Cavallo, Chapter Regent
